On Sunday, September 21st, join the Center for Social Inclusion and over 1,000 partner organizations at the People’s Climate March in New York City.
Climate change is affecting us all, particularly communities of color. As the threats of climate change become more likely, communities of color are taking matters into their own hands, becoming active agents to create healthier communities. Unfortunately, while communities of color are generating new ideas and multiple efforts to build a more inclusive and green space, there is no national dialogue to create policies to support these endeavors. By 2042 people of color will become the majority in our nation. If we don’t act now, our future is in jeopardy.
For time and place, go to the People’s Climate.
After the march, On Monday, September 22nd and Tuesday, September 23rd participate in the People’s Climate Action Summit.
