Our Programs
Through our four strategies, CSI has developed programs to address racial inequities within specific issue areas and/or sectors. Some of these programs, e.g. transportation, broadband, food, etc., have not been considered traditional racial equity issues, but we have seen them as critical 21st century infrastructure that will benefit not just communities of color, but all people.
A key theme of our programs is that communities of color are not just consumers–they are also assets, innovators, and producers. As such, many of our programs emphasize local ownership, local innovation, and community-scale solutions as keys to sustainable racial equity.
